Die Es

South African architects Gwen and Gawie Fagan designed and built their
family home between Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean.

Their spirit and way of life is what inspired the name for this platform
'die es' is the Afrikaans name of their home build in 1965.
In English, The Hearth - Fireplace.
Including the children in building 'die es' was a necessity.
They didn´t have much money so they had to build it themselves sharing
ideas and the learning process.

These epic people are inspiring in every way, mixing work with
pleasure and always including collaborators.

Getting inspired by colleagues, visiting and learning from family
and friends around the globe is what keeps us warm.
